Musa Adam

Mr. Adam is an accomplished Engineer and Management Professional. He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohia, USA, and an MBA from prestigious Harvard Business School.

He started his career as an Engineer with General Electric Company of the USA in 1971. Afterward he joined Nestle Ghana Limited in 1976 and served as Factory Manager and Managing Director until he left in 1994.

He worked as General Manager of GECAD Ghana Limited and was appointed the Managing Director of Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) in 1998.

Chief Adam has served on numerous Boards in the public and private sector. They include Valco Trust Fund, Tema Development Corporation (TDC), National Commission on Culture, Tema Food Complex Corporation, Alcatel Kabelmetal Company, and the Volta River Authority (VRA) among others. He was also a member of the Presidential Commission on Pension Reform Implementation Committee.

Chief Adam is a Traditional Ruler in the Mamprusi Traditional Area of the Northern Region of Ghana with an avid interest in the development of area. He is a keen tennis player and enjoys reading and playing word puzzles.
